I haven’t personally been to the beautiful city of Shanghai yet…

One day I will!

Until I do, here’s what I found while daydreaming about “actually” going to the historical city – an AMAZING boutique hotel!

A former warehouse in a historical part of the city’s South Bund riverside has been transformed into a “shabby chic” (a new term I just learned here) 19-room elegant boutique hotel with a roof top terrace overlooking the Bund on the other side!

The facade of the old Japanese Army Headquarters turned warehouse remains while the inside – well as you can see – clean, minimal and oh-so-chic!

The partitioning of this room is AMAZING!

Sexaaaayyyy!

Maybe I’ll use this for my next place – if I can afford one!

The restaurant is by non other than former Gordon Ramsay protege Jason Atherton.
