I should probably confess – I’m a shopaholic (shoes, bags, homeware, everything!)
So today I met a friend of mine Sasha Rowena, a vivacious 26-year old who has a thriving business – bags, laptop cases, phone wallets etc. Here’s an article about her turning her passion into a successful business.
Her website‘s pretty enticing as well
The first time I met her, she was carrying her signature snake skin bag which I instantly fell in love with.
Today – I officially own the same bag. Cuz she specially ordered one made for me. Ta-da:
After about 15 mins of chatting (we both talk at bullet speed), I learned that she has another brand which carries environmentally conscious green homeware products called Moo-ve Homeware! Check out the range here.
From Trashcans, to pencil holders, stationary cups, storage boxes, to picture frames! She also told me she’s gonna extend the range! Kudos to Sasha for going green!
This is what I really meant to share with you today:
The outsides are made from recycled magazine pages while the inner layers are made of vinyl to make them stronger.
Could this also inspire some DIY projects?
I’m glad I bumped into a friend who has fantastic vision and a responsible head on those shoulders

Oh wow, I interviewed her for Prestige mag’s Top 40 Under 40 (published November 2010 special issue) and I absolutely LOVE this bag too! My fave from that collection at least. Haven’t seen the new collection yet!
