Something else I love to do – scour magazine shelves for ID mags/ books and DREAM!
Here’s something I found in this fantastic magazine:
“OMG”!
That’s the only thing I managed to utter when I saw this article in the mag version.
Slight error though - in the mag it was mentioned that the owners enjoy “sweeping views of the Malaysian landscape”.
IMAGINE my sense of pride when I thought this was in Malaysia!
A homeowner who’s 110% responsible when it comes to sustainable energy, conserving rain water, reducing carbon footprint!
After further reading, I realized this is actually in Phuket but BY a MALAYSIAN architect firm (Serena proud again
Let me take you on a tour ;P
The amazing living room: LOVE the concrete walls, stairs, the openness!
Living room from diff angle: Check out the view! AGAIN the openess! No air-cons required!
Le Kitchen: The Artichoke lamp! The view! I’d be cookin this kitchen everyday if I had this!
Paradise bathroom: Although I’d make this a little more open, who can complain right? LOVE the walls. Sorry I’m partial – I have the same walls ;P
Walkway: More concrete, mixes surprisingly well with green don’t you agree? Love the old school window panes too. Reminds me of my childhood home in Tawau… Fond memories of opening and shutting windows and getting yelled at by mom for being a rascal.
The Guestroom?!: Oh please owners, can I be your guest everyday?!
Lawn: Who wouldn’t wanna wake up to this huh?!
Hope you had as great a time ogling at this gem as I did!
Now if you have any similar houses you’d like us to check out, PLEASE let us know!

Oh i also read the article on this house. But thanks for the info, i to at first was shocked such a house was build in Malaysian soil. I was thinking a view like this can only be in Kudat Sabah or langkawi.
